| This time of year brings multiple track closings in the New England area, which means lots and lots of greyhounds are looking for homes. We have some beautiful hounds in the kennel just waiting for their permanent homes - feel free to stop by and see them, take one or two for a walk, and visit our store. It's a relaxing way to spend a morning or an afternoon.
Given the number of greyhounds looking for homes, we rely heavily upon our base of loyal supporters for donations of items we have on our Wish List. These donations, both large and small, allow us to care for the greyhounds in our kennel and also to clean the kennel and stock our office area. If you are interested in donating an item or items, right now we could particularly use:
Dry dog food - Iams, Eukanuba, Pro Plan Canned dog food Rice Olive Oil
Other items on our Wish List (which can be found in full list form under "How You Can Help") include: Carpet-cut to 3'x5' pieces, carpet cutters, paper towels, bleach, pine cleaner, liquid dish soap, blankets and towels, comforters, laundry detergent, bandages, vet supplies, flea & tick shampoo, bird seed for our wild birds at the kennel, office supplies including copy paper, envelopes, pens, paper, scotch tape, etc. and mailing envelopes-especially the large ones.
